Not only do I want you to win the battle for your mind, I want you to be able to help others win, too. And I don’t want to just help you win, but win big! I truly believe there is a battle raging in your mind, because there was one raging inside of mine. I have helped so many people like you better understand God’s Word, and the longer I serve Him and study His Word, the more I realize how important thoughts and words are. We can win the battles raging in our minds. We just need to pick up those tools and activate them so we can steer in the right direction. In fact, if your mind is going the wrong way, you’re going to follow and end up at a dead end, too.īut there is great news: God has given us all of the tools we need to have our minds pointed on the path He’d like us to take.

Regardless of how well you can perform, how fast you can go, or how sleek you may look, you won’t do anything if your mind isn’t pointed in the right direction. When you point your mind in a certain direction, your body follows through with actions. I believe that just as the steering wheel controls the direction of the car, the mind controls the direction of a person. But what really controls this car? The person handling the steering wheel, the person pointing the car in a certain direction and pressing the accelerator or the brakes. This car is designed with the latest technology and can reach top speeds. Think of your body as a top-of-the line sports car. In other words, your thoughts determine your actions. Proverbs 23:7 tells us, “For as thinks in his heart, so is he” (NKJV).
